Job description

12Build is looking for an experienced Product Designer who wants to go beyond UX and UI. You’ll be involved in the entire product development lifecycle, from the very first ideas all the way to launch with our customers across Europe, and beyond. Curious? Keep reading.

About 12Build

We’re building a SaaS platform for the European construction industry. Today, the majority of construction companies in the Benelux, Germany, and Denmark rely on 12Build every day. In the coming years, we’ll be expanding into more countries. To make this growth possible, strategic product development is key, and Design plays a crucial role. By strengthening design, we can significantly increase the value our platform delivers.

What you’ll do

As a Product Designer at 12Build, you’ll be hands-on in every stage of building our product:

  • Product discovery – Together with our Product Managers, you’ll drive discovery. You’ll run user research, analyze product usage data and market trends, and validate ideas that shape our roadmap.

  • Design & development – You’ll be part of a dedicated product team that owns a specific area of the platform. Here, you define how our solutions work and look, ensuring customers can easily adopt and experience their value without support.

  • Launch & adoption – You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success to make sure the value of each new feature is clear and well-communicated.

  • Iteration & improvement – Even after launch, you’ll stay involved. You’ll monitor adoption, gather feedback, and translate it into continuous improvements.

  • Design system – You’ll co-own and evolve our design system, ensuring a consistent line from our company branding to every product experience. Whether it’s our website or a feature deep inside the platform, you know exactly how it should look, and why.

Who you’ll work with

You’ll join a cross-functional product team with a Product Manager, QA, and developers. Organizationally, you’re part of our Product Management department, which consists of Product Managers and Product Designers. Product development is a central pillar of our company strategy for the coming years, and Design will play a leading role. This means you’ll have plenty of space to grow and make a real impact.

Job requirements

What we expect from you

  • You have a strong feel for applications that just “work seamlessly.” Our goal is consumer-grade design.

  • You’re naturally curious about the challenges our customers face every day, and how to solve them in the best possible way.

  • You have a clear opinion on how things should work or look, but you also know delivering customer value comes first. You welcome feedback from users and colleagues and understand that compromises are part of the process.

  • You’re highly analytical, solving the right problems in the right way. Skills and intuition matter, but you also base your decisions on data and customer insights.

  • Strong design skills are a given, but you also care deeply about microcopy.

  • You can organize and structure complex workflows and large amounts of information into clear, intuitive designs that help users achieve their goals faster.

  • You’re precise and detail-oriented. Your designs are polished, UX, UI, and text. And yes, your Figma files are always tidy and well-documented.

What’s in it for you?

  • Your choice of laptop and accessories.

  • A full-time salary between €4,700 and €5,500 gross per month (senior level).

  • A home office allowance of up to €75 net per month.

  • A company culture that isn’t just buzzwords, but truly comes first.

  • A flat organization with short lines. No heavy hierarchy.

  • Hybrid working: from home or at the office. And when you’re at the office, lunch is on us.

  • Regular team events, outings, guest speakers, and workshops.

  • Access to a bike leasing program.

  • 30 vacation days to recharge.
